Swedish / circulatory massage

With oil to glide over the skin, I use long strokes, kneading strokes, and percussive strokes to both relax and stimulate the body. One intent of Swedish massage is to increase blood flow to the skin and muscles, decreasing their hypertonicity, increasing their pliability. Traditional Swedish massage also includes passive stretches of the legs and arms that feel very relaxing. This is an excellent massage after a workout, just to relax or to connect with your body.
